Robert J. Johnston, 27, of Manchester, NH, formerly of Derry, NH, died suddenly Sunday, December 18, 2016. He was born August 30, 1989 in Derry, and was the son of Sheila Maher and Jeffrey Johnston. He was raised and educated in Derry and had been a lifelong resident of the area.
Robbie was employed for several years as a dry wall installer and had worked for B&M Dry Wall Co. He loved the outdoors, especially hiking and was an excellent sketch artist and enjoyed wildlife drawing.
In addition to his mother of Manchester and his father of Haverhill, MA, he is survived by his sister, Megan Parent of Manchester, maternal grandfather, Ronald Maher of Londonderry, NH, niece, Kylie Forand of Manchester, an aunt and her husband, Julie and Jeff Donovan of Londonderry, an uncle, Brian Maher of Derry, two cousins, Conor Lewis, and Nicholas Maher, and second cousin Liam Lewis. Robbie was predeceased by his grandmother, Nancy A. Maher in May of this year.
Calling hours were held Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 4 to 6 pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry, NH with a Catholic Prayer Service that followed at 6 pm.
