NEW BEDFORD… Russell E. Henry, 82, of New Bedford passed away December 15, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital.
He was the companion of Christine Oliveira of New Bedford and husband of the late Theresa (Isabelle) Henry.
Born in New Bedford, he was a son of the late Ellis C and Agnes M. (Cosmos) Henry. He had been a lifelong resident of New Bedford.
Mr. Henry worked in the Textile Industry for many years. He enjoyed walking and playing sports, specifically baseball and football.
Along with is companion, he is survived by his daughter, Karen Pimental and her husband Michael of Tiverton, 2 sons, Russell E. Henry, Jr. and his wife Joanne of Somerset, and Bruce Henry of New Bedford, 3 grandsons, Chayne Williamson, Justin Williamson & Joshua Williamson, a great grandson, Logan Williamson, several nieces and nephews. He was brother of the late Pauline Henry and Ellis Henry.
