DEHNER, Rev. Paul H., 89, of Louisville, went to his Heavenly Reward on Saturday, December 17, 2016.
Rev. Dehner was an Ordained Bishop ministering in the Church of God (headquartered in Cleveland, TN) since 1954. He ministered in Kentucky at Evarts Church of God, Willisburg Church of God, West Liberty Church of God, Kimper Church of God, Fairdale Church of God and Bowling Green Church of God. After retiring, he resided in Campbellsville, KY. He had attended Lee University in Cleveland, TN and was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He is preceded in death by his father, John T. Dehner; mother, Mary L. (Henry) Dehner; sisters, Sara Brewster, Penny Bingham, and Esther Dehner; and brothers, David Dehner and William J. Dehner.
Bishop Dehner is survived by his loving wife, best friend, and partner in ministry for 54 years, Leanah (Hickey) Dehner; two sons, William W. Dehner and Christopher A. Dehner (Monica); daughter, Anita F. Dehner (Jody); 8 grandchildren, Ashley, Bethany, William, Erica, Austin, Christopher II, James, and Micah; 10 great grandchildren; and brother, James Dehner.
Visitation will be Tuesday 5-9pm at Crescent Springs Church of God, 2500 High Street, Ft. Mitchell, KY and also 11am-1pm Wednesday at the church. Funeral Service will be 1pm Wednesday at the church. There will be a graveside service 1pm Thursday at Bethany Cemetery in Louisville, KY. Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown is entrusted with arrangements.
