TINA (MINTON) LAKE, 94, of Louisville, passed away on December 18, 2016 at the Springdale Atria Senior Living surrounded by her family and and friends.
Tina was born in Grayson County, KY. She worked in the library of PRP High School until the age of 80 and was an active member of Ormsby Heights Baptist Church, where she served in VBS and GA’s for many years.
Preceding her in death was her loving husband, Jesse A. Lake, Jr. and her daughter, Ava Yvette Lake.
Survivors include her children, Art Lake (Deb) and Yonetta Beagle (Gary); grandchildren, Jason Lake (Dawn), Lindsey Phelps (Justin), Jessica Tinnell (Jordan), and Ava Kelly (Chris); seven great grandchildren with two on the way; her sister, Ava Rose Lucian; sister-in-law, Janice Minton; very special nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to express an appreciation to the staff of Springdale Atria Senior Care for their love, support and extreme kindness received by Tina and her family.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Tuesday.
