BEVERLY: Robert L. Freve, 69, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at his home. Born in Woonsocket, RI on April 16, 1947, he was the son of the late Robert and Rita (Connell) Freve.
Robert "Bob" grew up in Amesbury and was a graduate of Whittier Tech High School. He served in the U.S. Navy and lived in Florida for many years. He later worked as an IT Construction Foreman at Colorado University in Boulder before retiring.
Bob was a devoted father who loved his children and grandchildren dearly. He loved to make people laugh and when he laughed, it usually shook the room. Bob’s big heart and handsome smile brightened many rooms during his lifetime, and many people.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Helen G. Freve; his loving children, son Robert Jr., and daughters, Bobbiejo and Kelly; stepchildren Kurt, Hope, Michelle, Michael, Melissa, Meghann, and Melanie; his beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss him dearly; his brother, James, and sisters, Kathy and Carol and many more family and friends. His sister Judy predeceased him.
Services were held privately by his family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
