Dorothy left us peacefully on December 15, 2016. She was 82 yrs. old. Dorothy was surrounded by a loving family throughout her life, especially in the last 3 weeks with hospice in her own home with family around the clock.
Dorothy was raised in Whitman and lived with her husband Walter B. Koslowsky in East Bridgewater on their farm with their 5 children and the remainder of her life in Hanson.
In addition to her first callings as wife, mother & grandmother Dorothy enjoyed decorating cakes, ceramics and canning the summertime vegetables that her husband grew on their farm in East Bridgewater. She also loved her dog Ossie, who is missing her.
Dorothy was deeply loved by all those who knew her and married for 64 years. They shared the love of their 5 children, Marylou Murphy, her husband Paul F. Murphy of Brockton, Dorothy A. Lujan of Hanson, Wayne W. Koslowsky and friend Jackie Desantis of Phoenix, Az., Walter J. Koslowsky and his wife Deborah of Hanover, and Patti Bruni and friend Paul Sousa of Middleboro. Dorothy had 14 Grandchildren & 11 Great Grandchildren that she so adored.
Visitation is from 10AM to 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St., Whitman. A prayer service will be at 12 Noon with Pastor Craig Ouillette. Burial to follow in the Colebrook Cemetery, Essex Street, Whitman.
