Lorraine (Grillo) DeCosta, age 81, of Fall River, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016. She was the wife of the late Theodore DeCosta, and daughter of the late James T. and Olive (Monis) Grillo. Lorraine was a waitress and short order cook who enjoyed collecting roosters, playing bingo, shopping, yard sailing, camping and caring for her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children; Stephen and Antone DeCosta, Cathy Druillenger, and Laurie Gray (husband James), siblings; Pat Guerra, John and Vicki Grillo, grandchildren; Malinda, Jocelyn, James and Brindin, great-grandchildren; Ava, Miya, Noah, and Landon and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Ronald and James Grillo and Delores Robinson.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Tuesday here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Michael’s Church at 10 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours on Monday from 4-8 P.M.
