MALVAROSA- Of Miami, Florida, formerly of the North End of Boston, August 18th, Francis A. "Bebe". Devoted son of the late Thomas and Hilda (Vitale) Malvarosa. Beloved brother of Eddie Malvarosa of Chelsea, Anthony Malvarosa of Revere, Chickie Del Priore of Peabody and the late Angelo Malvarosa and Nancy Santaniello. Dear and loving companion of Jan Edison of Florida. Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews including the late Lisa Malvarosa. At the request of the family visiting hours and Funeral Services will be private.
Born in East Boston, and christened at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Francis, age 76, passed away at the Vitas Hospice of the Aventura Hospital in Miami Beach, Florida after an extended illness.
Raised in the North End and a graduate of the Michaelangelo School, "Bebe" was raised in the family business, Malvarosa Flower Shop, in it's original location on Prince Street opposite St. Leonards Church and Peace Garden. Retiring to Miami Beach a little over 15 years ago, he kept buzy in the Miami area also working as a florist.
