Eugenia M. Redziniak, 88

Eugenia M. (Dziedzic) Redziniak, age 88, a resident of the Village at Willow Crosssings, in Mansfield passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 15, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late John Redziniak, to whom she was wed for forty-two years at the time of his death in 1996.

Born in Markowa, Poland on August 1, 1928, she was a loving daughter of the late Antoni and Zofia (Lonc) Dziedzic.

She grew up in Poland, where she was educated, wed to her late husband John and where she also had worked as a hospital accountant.

Eugenia had made her home in Mansfield for the past eighteen years and was a former longtime resident of Linden, New Jersey. Wile living in Mansfield she was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church and while in Linden was a parishioner of St. Theresa of the Child Parish and a member of St Theresa’s Rosary Society.

Mrs. Redziniak graciously served as dedicated homemaker to her adoring family and loved her grandsons dearly. She was very proud of her Polish heritage and helped many immigrants assimilate to the United States.
She also enjoyed the fun times at Polish picnics and engaging in Polish cultural events.

She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter Alina Bilodeau of Mansfield and her cherished grandsons Daniel Bilodeau and Matthew Bilodeau. She was pre-deceased by four brothers, and is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Poland.

Her funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 20th at 11:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will take place on Tuesday, December 27th at 12:00 P.M. at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, New Jersey.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday December 19th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield.

In lieu of flowers and for all the love and kindness shown to her by Hospice, Eugenia’s family has requested donations in her memory be made to Old Colony Hospice, 321 Manley St., West Bridgewater, MA
