Joseph "Malinky" Itrato of Medford died on Thursday, December 15. Born and raised in Boston's West End, he was the son of the late Sylvestro and Concetta (D'Arrigo) Itrato. Joseph lived for many years in East Cambridge before settling in Medford in 1976.
Joseph was the beloved husband of the late Carmina Itrato, and the devoted father of Donna Nichols and her husband John of Tewksbury. He was the loving grandfather of Krystal Nichols and her husband Willie Player of Manchester, NewHampshire, and the loving great grandfather of Byanca Nichols, Bryannah and Nevaeh Player. Joseph is also survived by many dear friends.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Tuesday, December 20 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours Monday, December 19, from 4 through 8 PM.
