Gilbert W. Carrie, 66, of Hampstead, NH, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at his residence. He was born July 26, 1950 in Lawrence, MA and was the son of the late Gilbert and Mildred (Reinhold) Carrie. Mr. Carrie was a graduate of Lawrence High School and Lowell Tech. Mr. Carrie was employed as a technician for over 20 years at the Arlington Trust Computer Center. He enjoyed softball and was an avid candlepin bowler.
Members of the family include his wife of 40 years, Sharon (Jaskel) Carrie; a son and his wife, Christopher and Christina Carrie; a daughter and her fiancée, Bethany Carrie and Joseph Clark; his sister and her husband, Edith and Alfred Longo; two nephews and their wives, Peter and Meredith Longo and Kevin and Danielle Longo; as well as two great nieces and a great nephew.
Calling hours were Sunday, December 18th from 1 to 3pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH. A memorial service followed at 3:00pm in the funeral home.
