Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 14, 2016. Preceded in death by parents Gunnard & Opal. Survived by loving wife of 67 years, Beverley; children Greg (Cindy), Gaylin (Diane) & Pam (Rick) Hayner. Proud grandpa of Christie (Jim) Eck, Tom (Jessica), Jen, Tara (Ryan) Reed, Tanya Sanders, Maria (Jesse) Cornacchione & great grandpa of Nate, Brad & Russell Eck, Gunnard, Sam & Addie Larson, & Rhett Reed. Korean War Veteran, member of North St. Paul American Legion Post 39 & employee of ISD 622 for 56 years. Service Monday (12/19) 11:00 AM at ST. MARK'S EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2499 N. Helen St. (Door 7W), North St. Paul. Interment Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Visitation Sunday 4-7 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave, North St. Paul, & one hour prior to service at church. Memorials preferred to HealthEast Hospice. We will miss his loving smile.
