Jacqueline Pope Lott entered into rest on December 13, 2016 at Pruitt Health-Augusta Hills.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. John United Methodist Church, with Dr. Jody Alderman officiating. Interment to follow at Westover Memorial Park
Mrs. Lott was born in Decatur, Georgia and lived most of her life in Augusta, most recently living at St. John Towers. She worked in sales for Ruben’s Department Store and retired from WGAC Radio. She was a member of St. John United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Lott was preceded in death by her parents, J.D. and Lucille Pope. Survivors include her daughters Kathy DeLoach (Pat) and Nancy Hodge, her grandchildren Brock Baumgartner (Miranda) and Natalie Moorhead (Justin), and three great-grandchildren Cameron, Colin and Amelia Baumgartner.
The family would like to thank the staff of Pruitt Health-Augusta Hills and Pruitt Health Hospice for their loving and tender care of Mrs. Lott during her illness.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to St. John United Methodist Church, St. John Towers, or the Augusta Humane Society.
Pallbearers are Greg Capers, William Dunn, Lee Herndon, David Horne, Gardelle Lewis, Jr. and Dan Weigle.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
