Jean A. (Frongillo) Ross, age 89, former longtime resident of Natick, Wareham, and Venice and most recently St. Petersburg FL died peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, December 12, 2016 at the Stanley Tippett Hospice Home in Needham. She was the devoted wife of the late John E Ross.
Born in Boston on June 21, 1927, she was the beloved daughter of the late Louis and Ann (Safrin) Frongillo. She was a devoted and loving mother to her three sons and daughter. Jean was a homemaker and worked at many part time jobs in Natick. She loved exercise, music and dance and was very active with the Women’s Club in Natick.
She graduated from Reading High School and met her husband while he was in the Marines. To those who knew Jean, she was a beautiful, caring and kind woman. She is survived by her children John and his wife Cheryl of Marathon, FL, James and is wife Marietta of Natick, Jeffrey and his companion Charlene Hebert of Medway, Janice Hart and her husband Robert of Medway; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Robert Frongillo of Bradenton FL.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 7th, 2017 in St. Patrick Church, 44 East Central Street, Natick. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. at John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, So. Natick.
