Jane M. Haines
Formerly of Tewksbury
DAYTON, OH: Jane Marie (Flaherty) Haines, passed away on December 9, 2016, with her husband Richard E. Haines by her side.
Born in South Boston on November 28, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Timothy J. Flaherty and the late Helen L. (Thornton) Flaherty.
Jane was a graduate of North Quincy High School, and Burdett Business School of Boston.
Her hobbies were reading, shopping and traveling.
Jane was a loving and beloved step-mother of Miriam I. Haines-Kelleher and her husband William Patrick Kelleher of Tewksbury.
In addition to her husband and step-daughter, Jane is survived by her beloved brother, William T. Flaherty of Kingston; many nieces including Stephanie Flaherty of Pembroke; also many nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
Calling hours are Thursday, Dec. 15, from 4-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Her funeral will be held Friday, Dec. 16, at 9 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by graveside services at 9:30 a.m. at the Tewksbury Cemetery, 172 East St., Tewksbury. Kindly Omit Flowers.
