Irene M (Spaulding) Zonghi, 70, of Natick died unexpectedly Friday, December 9, 2016, at the Metro West Medical Center in Natick.
Born in Natick and a lifelong resident, she was the grandmother of Joseph Anthony Zonghi, Nicolas Joseph Zonghi, and Sophie Nicole Zonghi; mother of Anthony Zonghi of Natick; and daughter of William Spaulding of Natick and the late Dorothy (Charles) Spaulding. Irene recently retired from Weber Chiropractic where she worked for more than 17 years.
Irene was completely devoted to her family, was the primary care giver for her father, and cherished her role as grandmother having an active role in caring for them as well.
In addition to her grandchildren, son and father she is survived by her former daughter in law, Jacqueline (Carr) Zonghi. She was also the sister of the late Carol Dunbar.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Monday December 19 at 11:00 A.M. in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common. Burial will follow in Dell Park Cemetery.
Visiting hours are Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M.
