Obituary

Richard V. Hanna, 71, of Framingham, died peacefully Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Metro West Medical Center in Framingham.
He was the beloved husband of Carol M. (Napolitano) Hanna sharing 47 years of marriage.
A Framingham resident for 37 years he was born in Boston the son of the late Robert and Mildred (Chute) Hanna.
Mr. Hanna was a driver on the MBTA Green Line for many years and previously worked for Thompson Transit Company and General Motors Corporation.
He was a member of the American Legion of Marlborough, and was an avid fan of the Red Sox, Patriots, NASCAR especially Dale Ernhardt.
Mr. Hanna was a Veteran of the United Sates Navy serving in the Vietnam War.
In addition to his wife he is survived by 3 daughters, Bonnie A. Hanna Ciccarellli of Framingham, Darline C. Hanna of Franklin, Pamela S. Hanna of Plymouth, NH, two brothers Edward Hanna, Robert Hanna, one sister Ginny Hanna, grandchildren Kaitlyn Hanna, Nicholas Musial, Frankie Cortes, Aurora Caraballo, great-grandchildren, Ryan Spencer, Jr., Noah Spencer, and many nieces and nephews.
He was also the grandfather of the late Jayden Eternity Williams.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Friday, December 16th at 10:00 A.M. in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at Natick Common.
Burial will follow in St Stephens Cemetery Framingham.
Visiting hours are Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
