Mrs. Ann F. (Sherman) Lowney, 70, of Methuen, Massachusetts passed away on Sunday, December 11th, 2016 at the Lawrence General Hospital.
She was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts on October 5, 1946, she was the daughter of the late George Prescott and Helen (Polgreszk) Sherman. Ann was educated in the local schools of New Bedford, Massachusetts and was a graduate of Boston University.
Ann and her husband Doug owned and operated Lowney & Lowney Real Properties Appraisal Company in Methuen, MA.
She enjoyed gardening, playing pool, sewing, roller blading, taking walks and especially loved spending time with her family and making sure everyone was always happy.
Ann is survived by her husband Douglas J. Lowney of Methuen, MA
Her 2 daughters Genevre and her husband Timothy Jankowski of Methuen, MA. and Sara and her husband Daniel Murtagh of Revere, MA.
Her brother William and his wife Susan Sherman of Middleborough, MA.
Her three grandchildren Abigail, Alison, and Cameron
Her step children: Heather Lowney and Douglas Lowney.
A Celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, December 17th, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Family Home.
