Belmont---- Roberta E. (Dearborn) Bilodeau, 79, passed away peacefully to be with her Savior on Friday, December 9, 2016.
Roberta was born on September 30, 1937 in Laconia, the daughter of the late Irene (Clairmont) and Robert Dearborn. Roberta was very proud to call Belmont her home. She had fond memories of growing up in the large Clairmont family, extensively researching her family genealogy and the town’s history.
Spending her summers at Camp Bernadette, she taught her love of swimming to many girls. As a young woman, she helped build the family poultry farm, was a 4-H leader for the Trailblazers and was involved in the PTA. Later in life, Roberta formed many lasting friendships as a housekeeper.
A caring and generous soul, Bert was always on the go. She loved reading, her flower garden and a good bargain.
Roberta was a member of the Belmont Baptist Church where she could be found cleaning the church, teaching Sunday school, serving on the board and enjoying the fellowship of the Ladies Circle. Grammy Bert was devoted to her grandchildren, attending countless sporting events and fairs.
With the help of family, friends and Forestview Manor, Roberta lived her final years surrounded with love.
Roberta leaves behind her 3 children, Jeannine Poire, David Bilodeau, Kathleen Morrill and husband Bob; grandchildren, Joshua & Eric Poire, Cassandra & Jeremy Bilodeau, Tyson & Taylor Morrill; great-granddaughter, Ella Poire; a sister, Helen Harriman and husband Greg; nephew, Brock Harriman and niece, Melissa Young.
A woman of deep faith, Roberta put her life in God’s loving hands.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 6:00 at the First Baptist Church of Belmont, 49 Church Street, Belmont, NH.
