Obituary

Richard A. Cretinon, 90, of Kingston, passed away on December 10, 2016. He was the loving husband of his wife, the late Viola Cretinon. Born in 1926 to his parents, George and Alice Cretinon. He was the loving father to his children Alan Cretinon and his wife Brenda, Christy Deoliveira and her husband Dennis. He was a devoted grandfather to Christopher Wheeler and his wife Keisha, Michael Deoliveira and his wife Emily. He is also survived by his siblings Robert Cretinon, Jean Coffin and her husband Paul, Suzan Johnson, the late Pauline Lynch, Raymond Cretinon, Paul Cretinon and Roland Cretinon. He was also a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Richard worked as a carpenter for many years. He served his country during WWII, with the U.S Army. Richard was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Joseph's Church in Kingston and the Cold Spring Club in Plymouth. Richard also enjoyed hunting with family and friends. Visiting Hours will be held on Friday, December 16, from 4:00 to 7:00PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St, Kingston. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, December 17, at St. Joseph's Church in Kingston at 10:00AM. Internment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Kingston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard's name to: Cure Alzheimer's Fund, 34 Washington St, Wellesley Hills MA, 02481, suite #200.
