Obituary

Pauline R. Lussier, 89, of Melrose Park, Illinois died Tuesday December 6, 2016. She was the wife of the late Josaphat Lussier who passed away in 1976.
Born and raised in Manville she was a daughter of the late Herve and Anna (Noury) Landry. Mr. & Mrs. Lussier relocated to the Chicago area in the early 1960s and she resided there for over 50 years.
Pauline was employed as a bank teller at the Melrose Park, Illinois National Bank for many years.
She was involved with the Veteran’s Park organization in Melrose Park. She was an avid reader and talented at crocheting.
Pauline was a staunch, loyal and fantastic hockey mom. Whatever time, day or night, she was always in the stands displaying her support for the team.
Pauline will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother and cherished every moment with her grandchildren.
She is survived by a son Paul Lussier and his wife, Paula, of Glenview, Illinois, three grandchildren Andrew and his fiancé, Ally, Evan and Claire. She was the sister of the late Maurice and Royal Landry, Lillianne Leclerc, Cecile Lambert and Laurette Cote. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families including her special niece Jackie Gervais of Pascoag.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10:00 am in St. James Church, Division St. Manville. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Manville. Memorial donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, New England Chapter 60 Walnut St. Wellesley, MA. 02481.
