Domingas (Gibau) Fonseca (86) of Dorchester died December 10th 2016 in the Care One in Randolph. She was the widow of the late Arthur Da Fonseca.
She was born in Nossa Senhora do Monte, Brava, Cabo Verde daughter of the late Jose and Maria Da Lomba Gibau. Domingas enjoyed cooking and spending time with family.
Survivors include 3 sons, Tony and Rui Fonseca both of Dorchester also Joao Fonseca of Rhode Island, the late Artur Fonseca, 6 daughters, Constancia, Ana, Arlete, Otilia, and Carlotta Fonseca all of Dorchester and Mariazinha Fonseca of Florida, many grand, great grand, and great great grandchildren.
Visitation in the Dolan Funeral Home 1140 Washington Street Dorchester Wednesday December 14th from 5-9 pm. Cremation to follow. Interment of cremated remains to be held in Domingas's home town on the island of Brava, Cabo Verde.
