Our beloved “Dottie”, 82, died December 8, 2016 at home from causes incident to age. She was originally a native of Ventura, born March 29, 1934 to Gabriel and Antonia Garcia. She loved to sew and was once a professional seamstress. She was a great cook and baker, a hard worker ever willing to help others, a spotless housekeeper and always a lady in appearance and bearing. Survived by siblings: Julio & Margaret Garcia of Ojai, Tony & Marianne Garcia of Ventura, Manuel and Rachel Garcia of Oxnard, Jess & Marie Delia Garcia of Ventura, Linda Garcia & her partner Anita of Ventura. She is also survived by two children: Nellie Kleine & her husband Richard of Norwalk, CA, and Gilbert Ayon and his wife Violet of Yorba Linda, CA, five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her late husband Trinidad Ayon, to whom she was married over 50 years, and her second husband Julian Burgos, to whom she was married four years, along with three siblings: Joe Garcia, Lily Hernandez, and John Garcia.
The family would like to thank the many caregivers, friends, and family who loved Dottie in so many ways.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours Wednesday December 14, 2016 from 4 to 8pm in the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME, 757 E. Main Street Ventura, where a Most Holy Rosary will be recited at 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday December 15, 2016 at 10am in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 10800 Henderson Road Ventura.
