WORCESTER-Joanne S. (Lamonda) McArthur, 65, 11 W. Oberlin Street, died August 16th at home after a long battle with cancer. Her husband of 44 years, James McArthur died in 2000. She leaves 2 sons, Douglas J. McArthur of Worcester and Kenneth C. McArthur of Rochdale, 4 daughters, Robin LeBlanc with whom she lived, Donna Lambert, Jodi McArthur and Stacy Coonan all of Worcester, 2 sisters, Barbara Wyman of Spencer and Kathy Guenette of Auburn, 14 grandchildren, many nephews and nieces. 4 brothers and 4 sisters predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Noel and Catherine (Ladeau) Lamonda and graduated high school in Worcester. Mrs. McArthur was a loving mother and homemaker.
Calling hours are Friday, August 19th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM with a wake service at 7:30 PM in O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
