Maria (Fatima) Amado (62) of Brockton died December 8th in the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston. She is survived by her loving husband Joao B. Amado.
She was born in Fogo, Cabo Verde daughter of the late Manuel Barbosa and Albertina Barros. Maria loved cooking, cleaning, gardening, church and was known to be a very peaceful person.
In addition to her husband she is survived by 4 sons, 8 daughters, 2 brothers, 5 sisters, 15 grandchildren and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Wednesday December 14th at 8 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church at 9 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday December 13th from 4-8 pm.
