Obituary

Cynthia J. Grigsby, of Natick, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 7th, 2016 after a long battle with cancer while in the comfort of her home with her beloved husband Robert at her side. They shared 29 wonderful years of marriage.

Born, raised and educated in Brighton, the daughter of the late Joseph J. and Marilyn A. (Ready) Clancy. A 1971 graduate of the Girls Latin School, Cynthia received a Bachelor’s Degree from Babson College in buisness. Following graduation, she began working at Bell Atlantic in administration where she was employed for many years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her siblings, Sarabeth Ward and her husband Robert of New Hampshire, Sandra Clancy Kaczmarek and her husband Louis of Newton, John Clancy and his partner John Ranco of Jamaica Plain. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Kate Ward of New York, Alexandra Ward Sharpe and her husband Grant of Vermont, and Benen Kaczmarek of Newton.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service for Cynthia in the Chapel of the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at Natick Common on Monday, December 12th at 12 o’clock noon. Burial will immediately follow in Glenwood Cemetery, South Natick. Visiting hours will begin at 10:00 A.M. prior to the service.

Cynthia’s family wished to thank the Doctors and Nurses at Dana Farber for all of their care given during these last 16 years.
