On Sunday, December 4th 2016, Sharon "Sheri" Lenois, 70, of Turners Falls, MA, died at Baystate Franklin Medical center in Greenfield, MA.
She was always quick witted and never hesitated to say exactly what she felt. She was loving, daring, creative, independent, and lived with her head held high. Crocheting was always a fun pass time for her. And everyone who knew her, are going to miss her Christmas candy and crocheted hand towels.
She leaves behind 2 very devoted daughters, Sherry Lenois of Turners Falls, and Charlene (Sam) Arsenault also of Turners falls; her sons and daughter in laws Kenneth Lenois and Tori Lenois of Colrain, Thomas Lenois and Mary Lenois of Sunderland, and Edward Lenois and Sonia Lenois of Turners Falls. She leaves behind two long lost sons Steven and Richard and her sister, Judy Johnson as well. She also leaves behind 2 precious granddaughters and devoted pca workers Julianne Fisk of Turners Falls, and Christina Mateo also of Turners Falls; her grandchildren Arthur Fisk of Vermont, Leonard Lenois of Northfield, Kayla Richardson of Greenfield, and her beloved grand baby, Katarina Lenois of Turners falls. And too many great grandchildren to individually name.
She was the Turners Falls town "Gram" and always helped whoever she could whenever it was possible. She will be missed by many. She donated her body to science at UMass in Worcester, MA, and We will have a private celebration of life when she returns to us for she did not want a funeral or any memorial service.
The family would like to thank the CNA's at the nursing home in Sunderland, MA, and also at Poet Seat in Greenfield, MA for their dedication and patience with her during the last stages of her life. Also to the friends who stayed connected with her throughout the last few months, we know she appreciated and loved you all.
Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester is assisting the family.
