Donna June Gish
Manchester– Donna June Gish, 82, died December 7, 2016 at Elliot Hospital following a period of declining health.
She was born in Cordova, MN. on June 21, 1934 the daughter of James and Ida Lena (Dalaska) Gish.
She loved the ocean and enjoyed spending her time completing word find, going to craft fairs and sewing, but her real passion was creating her “crazy quilts”.
Her heart was full for family and friends.
Prior to her retirement she was a Registered Nurse and Activities Director for the Gale Home in Manchester.
Family members include three daughters, Cherry Nava of Le Center, MN., LaRae (Sanders) Dionne and her husband, Peter of Hooksett, Liberty Simons and her fiance Ray of Turtle Lake, WI., five grandchildren, Cassandra (Angelo), Nicole (Tony), Natalie (Christopher), Kelley (Kevin), Aaron, seven great grandchildren, two brothers, Keith Gish of AZ., Jerry Gish, of MN., two sisters, Norma Schwichtenberg, Mayonne Stocker, both of MN.
She was predeceased by a brother, Donald Gish and her loving dog, Dusty.
A prayer service will be held at 12 Noon on Monday at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home , 110 Bridge St.
Niche placement will take place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum at the convenience of the family.
