SHREWSBURY-Mary A. (Bergin) Kane, of 30 Julio Drive died Wednesday, August 17th in UMass-Memorial University Campus. Her husband Lt. Roger H. Kane was killed in action in France in 1944. She leaves her son; Roger H. Kane, Jr., of Shrewsbury, a brother; James F. Bergin of Shrewsbury and several nephews and nieces. Her sister Anne O’Connor Cronin predeceased her.
She was born in Leicester the daughter of John and Frances (Grady) Bergin. Mrs. Kane at one time worked for the Melville Corporation in its Human Resource Department.
The funeral is Friday, August 19th with a Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Christopher’s Church, 950 West Boylston Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
