Obituary

CHICOPEE – Brenda J. (Gray) Gagnon, 64, of the Fairview section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Tuesday, December 6, 2016. She passed into Eternal Life at Holyoke Medical Center surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Northampton on November 4, 1952, a beloved daughter of Glenda J. (Wilson) Gray and the late Robert H. Gray. She was raised and schooled in Northampton and lived in the city for many years before moving to Chicopee in 1991. Brenda was employed for many years as the Head of Disaster Services for the American Red Cross and assisted many people throughout her career. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Chicopee. Most of all, she was a wonderful homemaker to her family and showered them with her love and affection which was returned to her a thousand fold. She leaves her beloved husband and best friend of over 37 years, Donald A. Gagnon; her loving mother and step-father, Glenda J. (Wilson) Pinard and her husband, Raymond Pinard, of Zephyrhills, FL; her two loving children, Joel A. Beaudette of Chicopee and Sarah G. Goble of White House, TN; her three cherished granddaughters, Alexus Emond, Paris Beaudette and Lindsey Goble; her dear sister, Linda Healy and her husband, John, of East Harwich, MA; her dear brother, Robert Gray of Bowdoinham, ME; her dear brother-in-law, Gary P. Gagnon and his wife, Nancy, of East Longmeadow; her dear sister-in-law, Linda A. Gagnon of Chicopee; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, numerous friends and extended members of the Gagnon and Gray families. Besides her father, she was also predeceased by her loving father-in-law and mother-in-law, Eugene A. Gagnon and his wife, Fernande A. (Marquis) Gagnon; and her loving sister-in-law, Brenda Gray. Her Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
