Margery "Jean" (Wagner) Hull, 92, of Anderson went to be with the Lord on December 6, 2016 at Bethany Pointe Health Campus.
Jean was born November 15, 1924, in Greenfield the daughter of Ernest and Margaret Mary (Roche) Wagner. She graduated from St. Mary's High School, attended Marian College and graduated from Business College.
Along with her husband, she worked the election polls every year. She had a heart for caring for the elderly. Jean was a talented seamstress and accomplished quilter. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great grandson.
She was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church where she assisted with funeral dinners and the Senior Luncheon.
She was a bookkeeper for the Madison County Clerk's Office under Alpha Byrum. Then she became the bookkeeper for Plumb-Rite Supply until retirement.
She is survived by her two sons and daughters -in-law, Michael (Becky) Hull of Anderson and Steve (Marian) Hull of Metamora, IL; six grandchildren, Katie Hull, Susan (Mark) Guyer, Tom Hull, Maddie Hull, Sydni (Jeff) Gauwitz and Jennifer (Brian) Becker; grandson, Theodore Guyer; her brother, Philip Wagner, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard Lyle Hull whom she married October 4, 1946 in Anderson, died December 23, 2005; and her brother, Bill Wagner.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 14 at St. Mary's Catholic Church; 1113 Pearl Street with Rev. Daniel Shine officiating. Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 13 from 5-8 p.m. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. A Rosary service will be held at 8 p.m.. Visitation before the funeral service will be Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
