Ethel Pritchard Cooper Alsobrook, 95, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at Golden Living Center in Tifton. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. Alsobrook at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2016, at Tift Memorial Gardens, where she will be laid to rest. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 10, 2016, from 3:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born June 23, 1921 in Tift County, Mrs. Alsobrook was the daughter of the late James William Pritchard and Minnie Claudine Stewart Pritchard. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence Cooper; her second husband, James Alsobrook; one son, Dewey Cooper; two daughters, Kathy Dove and Wanda Hobbs; three brothers; and two sisters. She was a homemaker and had also worked at the Georgia Agrirama.
Mrs. Alsobrook is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Carla Cooper of Tifton; a daughter-in-law, Gayle Cooper of Tifton; two sons-in-law, Earnest Dove of Tifton and Gary Hobbs of Cornelia; ten grandchildren, Cheryl Scott, Chris Cooper, Stacy Sapp, Von Hobbs, Matt Hobbs, Ben Hobbs, Jamie Gibeaut, Clayton Robinson, Patrick Robinson and Randa Cooper; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren.
