WAYLAND: Norma R. (Tarr) Dutton, 86, died from complications of cardiac issues on Monday, December 5, 2016 after being stricken at her residence in Wayland.
She was born in Boston on October 17, 1930 the daughter of the late Frank S. Tarr and Barbara Ann (O’Connor) Tarr.
She was the mother of Kenneth L. Dutton of Augusta, ME and Wayne A. Dutton of Framingham. Sister of Barbara Dallamora of Marlborough and the late June Zicuis, Susan Tarr and Nancy Hayes. She was the grandmother of Ben Dutton of Medford and Rae Dearborn of Sherborn. Great-grandmother of Tyler and Ethan Dearborn and Sarah and Jack Dutton. She was the sister-in-law of the late Marion Dutton Lynch who died in September 2016. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Norma has been a life-long resident of Wayland and graduated from Wayland High School with the Class of 1948. For several years, she was the attendant at the beach at Lake Cochituate. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family and will be missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Rte. 30), Cochituate Village, Wayland.
Interment will follow in the Dutton family lot in Lakeview Cemetery in Wayland.
