June R. Chlosta, age 86, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Dec 3, 2016. She was born in Springfield on Dec 28, 1929 to the late Edward and Lillian (Pelitier) Mikaelian. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph J. Chlosta who passed away in 2006; one brother, Edward “Speed” Mikaelian and one sister, Ruth Ossolinski. June adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them. June leaves one son, Joseph E. Chlosta and his wife Karen of East Longmeadow; one daughter Karen Chlosta-Michaud and her husband Anthony Michaud of Ludlow and three grandchildren, Ryan Chlosta and his wife Caitlin, Rebecca Reaves and her husband Josh and Raquel Chlosta. A Memorial Service will be held on Thurs, Dec 8, 2016 at 11 AM at the Grise Funeral Home 280 Springfield St. Chicopee with burial to follow in Hillcrest Park Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held on Thurs, Dec. 8, 2016 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
