Cheryl Ann Courtney, age 60, passed away on Nov. 28, 2016 surrounded by her loving family at Mercy Medical center. She was born on May 20, 1956 in Erie, PA. She worked for many years as a nurses aid and as a hostess at Olive Garden. She leaves her loving husband James Courtney of Springfield; 3 sons, James and Joshua Courtney of Springfield and Raymond Courtney of VT; 1 daughter, Jennifer Cruz and her husband Rich of Chicopee; her parents Dale and Alma (Scott) Mushrush of Agawam; 3 sisters Kim Hurley and her husband Robert of Agawam, Alice Couture and her husband James of Agawam and Suellen Mrzgold and her husband John of Chicopee and also 11 grandchildren. Calling Hours will be held on Mon, Dec 5, 2016 from 5 to 8 PM at the Grise Funeral Home 280 Springfield St. Chicopee, MA with a Prayer Service to start at 7:30 PM.
