Beverlee Ann Ross, 56, of Derry NH, passed away Friday, December 2, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on June 29, 1960 in Washington D.C., a daughter of the late Gretchen and John Cronin. Beverlee grew up in Wellesley, Massachusetts and graduated from Wellesley High School in 1978. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Simmons College in Boston. Beverlee was a resident of Derry, NH since 1986 and worked as a Registered Nurse at the Manchester VA for over 27 years and more recently Southern NH Regional Medical Center in Nashua. She loved going to all of Bradd’s sporting events and stopping at Chili’s to eat after the games. She also enjoyed going to their family camp in Ossipee. Each week Beverlee faithfully watched her two favorite shows, The Bachelor and Shark Tank, with George by her side. She loved to shower her nieces and nephews with goodie bags when they would come to visit. Beverlee will be remembered for continually being upbeat even through her cancer battle and for always putting others before herself.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, George S. Ross Jr, her sons, Bradd Ross of Derry and George Ross III of Raymond, two sisters, Gretchen Sullivan of Needham, MA, and Caroline Arsenault of Sudbury, MA; one brother Frank Cronin and his wife Dawn of Cheshire, CT, as well as eight nieces and nephews. She is also survived by sister-in-laws Catherine Ross of Kittery, ME and Heather Ross of Rye, NH.
Calling hours were held on Tuesday December 6, 2016 from 4 – 8 pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, December 7th at 10:00am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Avenue, Derry. Burial followed in the Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry, NH.
