Edward J. Gorzynski, 68, of Natick died surrounded by loved ones on Friday, December 2, 2016, at the MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham.
He was the beloved husband of Diane M. (Mazzarini) Gorzynski sharing 35 years of marriage.
A Natick resident for 35 years he was born in Amsterdam, NY the son of the late Theodore J. and Jean (Pieckocki) Gorzynski.
Ed was an Engineering Technician for Analog Devices in Wilmington for the past 10 years and previously worked for the Raytheon Corporation and Lockheed Martin Company. He took pride in his work and worked up until he was no longer physically able.
He was a fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots and enjoyed bowling and playing pool.
He was devoted to his family and loved making people laugh. With his infectious personality and quirky sense of humor, he loved getting smiles out of anyone he encountered.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two children Joseph Gorzynski and his wife Claire of San Francisco, CA, Jenna Petro and her husband Michael of Mendon, one granddaughter Ava Petro, and his longtime friend Michael Krause and his wife Diane of Martha’s Vineyard.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday December 6th at 9:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at Natick Common, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Linus Church at 10:00 A.M.
Visiting hours at John Everett and Sons Funeral Home are Monday December 5th from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
Interment St Patrick Cemetery.
