Thomas M. Hayes, III age 32 of Philadelphia, formerly Easton and Brockton, died unexpectedly November 28, 2016. He was born in Portsmouth, NH and raised in Brockton and Easton a son of Thomas M. Hayes, Jr. and Caroline M. (Rideout) Hayes both of Brockton.
Tom was a graduate of Oliver Ames High School and also attended Endicott College. He enlisted in the US Army where he attained the rank of sergeant and served two tours of duty in Iraq. Tom had been an Army recruiter in Brockton before moving to Pennsylvania two years ago.
Tom loved to travel but most especially spending time with his younger brothers and sister.
In addition to his parents Tom leaves his siblings John Hayes, Jenna Hayes and Mark Hayes all of Brockton; his grandmothers Rose Leonard of Lakeville and Arlene Rideout of Brockton; many aunts, uncles and cousins and a special aunt Nora Risti of Bridgewater, NJ.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (rte. 123) Brockton on Sunday 2-5pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 10am. Burial in the Mass.
