Norma Jean (Beall) Wean, 87, of Key West, FL formerly of Anderson died November 29, 2016 at Key West Health and Rehabilitation after a brief illness.
She was born September 25, 1929 in Anderson the daughter of William C. and Cora (Vermillion) Beall and graduated from Anderson High School in 1947 then St. John Hickey Memorial in 1949 from the Nursing Team.
She was a life member of Bethany Christian Church.
She was a nurse for Dr. Roger Reed; Community Justice Center for 10 years; Volunteer for the American Cancer Society for 10 years, Altrusa Club, Sarah Circle at Bethany Christian Church; Beta Sigma Phi Sorority since 1952; and a member of the Orthopedic Nursing Association.
She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed reading, walking on the beach, NASCAR and the Colts.
Survivors include her son, Jon (Kim) Wean of Key West, FL, granddaughter, Laurel Bogoeff; two great grandchildren, Graycen Bogoeff and Savannah Bogoeff all of Key West, FL; her sister, Mary Louise Patterson of Anderson; nieces and nephews, Nancy & Fred Fuller, Rick & Nita Nagel, Pat & Jim May; Jama & Jeff Patterson, Steve & Shirley Patterson and Dave & Marilyn Reynolds and many great nieces and nephews and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack; her brother, Charles Beall and three sisters Madonna Fuller, Nondas May and Lucille Patterson.
Service will be 2 p.m. on Monday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Bob Bell officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery .
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Bethany Christian Church.
