Born April 18, 1929 to Stanley C. & Nellie (Keech) Szczech. Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on November 26, 2016. Survived by loving wife of 58 years, Patricia (Grealish); children Maryellen (Larry) Pettinelli, Rosanne Szczech, Terese (Nick Gfrerer) Szczech; grandchildren Brooke Pettinelli, Justin (Kerby) Pettinelli, Stephen (Kimberly) Pettinelli, Michael (Christina) Szczech; great grandchildren Nevaeh, Michael Jr., Oliver, Samuel, Anna, Lauren, Lainey; siblings Delores (Donald) Hansen, Gerald (Marilyn) Szczech, Donald (Claudette) Szczech; half brother Robert Jungwirth; many nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. Stanley went to college & became a teacher. He is a veteran of the US Air Force, serving in the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed camping with his family, hunting & fishing. Mass of Christian Burial Friday (12/2) 12:00 Noon at CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 2600 N. Margaret St., North St. Paul. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 4-7 PM with prayers at 6 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul, & one hour prior to Mass at church.
