Rita A. (Paul) King, 64, of Anderson, died November 28, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis after an extended illness.
She was born May 31, 1952 in Chicago, IL to James and Mary (Parrish) Paul.
She worked retail at Meijer and Cracker Barrel in Anderson. She enjoyed reading, football, baseball and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Mike King of Anderson; two children, Shawn Ashburn of California and Paul (Stephanie) King of Anderson; six grandchildren, Ariel, Lillian, Katy, Christian, Andrew and Jenson; great grandson, Zion; siblings, Barbara (Mike) Crocker of Washington; Jim (Kathy) Paul of Oregon and Robert Carroll of Arizona; several nieces and nephews; special sister-in-law, Rosie Cuzzart and special friend Dawn Harless and a special aunt PeeWee.
She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Ashburn and her parents.
Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Martin "Skip" Ockomon officiating. Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
