TEWKSBURY: Lorraine (Eagan) Brothers, age 87, a longtime Tewksbury resident, passed away at home on Sunday, November 27, 2016.
She was the beloved wife of Frederick W. Brothers, who passed away on October 17, 2008.
Born in Rockland, Maine on May 6, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Eagan and the late Beatrice M. (Swan) Eagan.
Lorraine was raised in Rockland, ME, attended Rockland schools and graduated from Rockland High School.
Following her wedding on April 30, 1948, she moved to Tewksbury where she and her late husband raised their family.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the AGFA Corporation in Wilmington.
Lorraine enjoyed traveling to Atlantic City and the Foxwoods Resort & Casino.
She is survived by three children, Thomas J. Brothers and his wife Susan of Chelmsford, Ronald A. Brothers and his wife Katie Kuntupis of Lynn and Kathy A. McCarthy and her partner Paul Williams of Kissimmee, FL; two sisters, Margaret Lyver and Ann Griffin both of Arizona; seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren; also many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Calling hours are Friday, Dec. 2, from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury, immediately followed by Funeral services to be held in the funeral home. Interment at Tewksbury Cemetery.
