Thomas L. Nelson, Jr.
Augusta, GA – Mr. Thomas “T.J.” Lewis Nelson, Jr., 35, entered into rest Saturday, November 26, 2016.
T.J. was a welder and member of Plumber and Steamfitters Local 150. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was a devoted dad and a loving son and brother.
Family members include his son: Thomas “Tripp” Lewis Nelson, III; mother: Julie Hixon Nelson; father: Thomas Lewis Nelson, Sr. and wife Joan; sisters: Katelyn Nelson Faircloth and husband Alex, Brandi M. Foust; and other loving family members. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, A.G. “Buck” and Margie Nelson, and his maternal grandparents, Gerald “Rhino” and Gloria Hixon.
A memorial service will be Friday, December 2, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Bill Hilley officiating. The burial will be private.
