Preceded in death by mother Eleanor; sister Barbara Fecteau. Survived by her three daughters Cyndi Alessi Carrara Bohun (David) of St. Paul, MN, Pam Hanisek (John) of Erie, PA, Laurie Fontaine (Zack) of San Diego, CA; grandchildren Sara Carrara DiFuccia (Mike), Matt Carrara (Amanda), Eric Carrara (Vanessa), Alyssa Hanisek, Emily Hanisek, Brandon Fontaine, Colin Fontaine; great grandchildren Elsa & Julia; brother Robert Batten (Pat); & her dog Teddy. Pat was born in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Eleanor Schlegel Batten Williams. She married Joseph Alessi & lived on the family farm in Old Chatham, NY. After the death of her husband in 1969 she remarried & lived in Ithaca, NY. She also lived in Erie, PA & St. Paul, MN. Pat was an oral cancer survivor of 12 years. She had a life long love of all things food & owned a restaurant in Ithaca, NY. She was a personal care attendant in her later years of life. Memorial service Wednesday (11/30) 11:00 AM at ST. MARK'S EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2499 N. Helen St. (Door 7W), North St. Paul, with visitation one hour prior to service. Private interment Ghent Union Cemetery in Ghent, NY. In lieu of flowers donations preferred to Head and Neck Cancer Alliance at www.headandneck.org.
