Frank "Bubba" Baptiste of New Bedford exhaled his final breath at 2:33 PM Friday November 25, 2016 following a courageous 21 month battle with a rare cancer.
He was the beloved and very special son of Rosalind and Frank Baptiste by whom he is survived. He also leaves behind five siblings, his loyal sister, Suzanne Baptiste of Los Angeles, CA, his always concerned brother, Robert Baptiste of Somerset, his very connected brother, David Rezendes of Florida City, FL, his attentive brother, Michael Rezendes of Falmouth, and his caring sister, Ann Marie Andrews of New Bedford. There are also aunts, uncles, cousins, and many acquaintances who admired his charisma.
Frank enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, namely his home, family, television sit-coms, videos, good cuisine, visiting, taking rides in the country, and his extensive ball and map collection. He will be greatly missed by all of us who loved him dearly.
His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10 AM at the International Church of the Nazarene, 284 Pleasant St., New Bedford. A Christian burial will follow in Rural Cemetery.
