Obituary

George H. Bresnahan, 88, of Londonderry, NH, but long time resident of Springfield, NH, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016, in Hillsborough County Nursing Home, Goffstown, NH. He was born in Holyoke, MA on October 21, 1928, a son of John and Marcella (Pariseau) Bresnahan. George had a passion for cars, not only when it came to his work, but for fun as well. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, stacking wood, chopping kindling and tending to his vegetable garden. George loved to read and encouraged those around him to enjoy it as well. He had an amazing singing voice which he put to use during car rides with his family. He was a generous man who spent his free time on volunteer work, including Meals on Wheels and helping at the local library.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Cora (Reynolds) Bresnahan; son, Henry Anthony Bresnahan; daughter, Ami Felecia Fish; sister, Marcie Racine; three grandchildren Brandon Fish, Elizabeth Fish, Veontha Bresnahan and also many nieces and nephews. George was predeceased by four brothers, John, James, Robert and William Michael Bresnahan and one sister, Lucille Milanovich.

There will be no services per the family’s wishes. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, MA/NH Chapter 166 River Road- Suite 210 Bedford, NH 03110.
