Donna Ruth Dalton, age 63, died Saturday, November 26, 2016 at her home in Lafayette County, MS. She was born September 2, 1953 in Lafayette County to the late James and Lavelle Harmon Dalton. She was a member of Paris Baptist Church and retired as an RN from Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS after 40 plus years of service. Donna was a selfless person who enjoyed taking care of others. She was a loving and devoted daughter, sister and aunt; and a motherly figure to many. Donna enjoyed photography, sports, her horses, and Keith Urban.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm in the Paris Cemetery, Paris, MS with Pastor Brad Burnett officiating. Hayden Self, Cory Thweatt, Mack Thweatt, and Marty Harmon will serve as pallbearers.
Donna is survived by her brother, Ricky Dalton of Banner, MS; her niece, Dana (Hayden Self) Dalton of Banner, MS; her nephew, Dylan Dalton of Banner, MS; a cousin Donna considered as a sister, Beth Thweatt; a great-nephew, Harvey Kaup.
