Loving husband of the late Virginia Squadrito (Leon). He was a father to Frank Squadrito, Virginia Squadrito, Josephine Sullivan and her husband Thomas. Grandfather to Stephanie Flanagan of South Boston, George L. Flanagan Jr. and his wife Dawn Flanagan of Braintree. Great grandfather of Justin Carl Flanagan, Mia Flanagan and Mari Flanagan. Survived by many nieces and nephews. World War II Veteran in France, Belgium, Africa and Rhine. Very decorated Veteran that worked his whole life for the wellbeing of Veterans. Member of the military order of the Cootie. Lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, past commander of VFW post in South Boston.
Visiting Hours will be held at Casper Funeral Home located at 187 Dorchester Street in South Boston from 4-8 on Tuesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Monica Church in South Boston on Wednesday at 10 AM followed by interment at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
