Augusta – Mr. Donald (Don) Tunnell, 89, beloved husband of the late Mary Tunnell, entered into rest on Friday, November 25, 2016.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Rev. Nate Dean officiating.
Mr. Tunnell grew up in War, West Virginia, where he was active in his community. He was loved by his family and friends and was known for his stories and memories of the past.
He is survived by his daughter, Iris Ann Lloyd, his grandchildren; Melissa Haley, Kathy Morgan, Ronda Masters (Ron), and Don Lloyd (Erica), his great grandchildren; Mary Devon and Erin Haley, Sloan, McClain, and Ridge Morgan, Chad, Carson, and Morgan Masters, and Ella Claire, Coleman, and Charlton Lloyd, a great-great granddaughter; Georgia Haley, a great-niece; Garnett Durkee (David), as well as many other beloved family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Tunnell, and a daughter, Donnette Gustafson.
