Shrewsbury-Lucille J. "June" (Hardy) Fanion, 85, of Shrewsbury, passed away Saturday, November 26th in the Odd Fellows Home, Worcester. Her husband, Andrew Fanion, died in 2003. Her son, Calvin "Casey" Cason, died in 1978 and her daughter, Marylou Cason, died in 1974. She leaves her step-children, Cynthia Decelle, Andrew Fanion, Jr., Alice Martini, Ann Marie Simpson, and Walter Fanion.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Stephen and Rita (St. George) Hardy and graduated from the former High School of Commerce. Mrs. Fanion was a waitress for many years at Jean's Place.
June's funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 29th in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 5 Spaulding Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester. O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester, is assisting with arrangements.
